2022 People's Choice Awards Winners - Landscape of the Year

Auckland Central Landscaping Consultant Thelma Meyer has taken home first place for her hard work transforming a tired Sandringham landscape into a stylish outdoor space. In addition to the updated front facade, Thelma used chic retaining walls to serve a functional purpose while also defining the tiered entertaining areas; an attached deck, raised concrete patio, and a ground-level lawn.

The Big Smoke was the place to be this year for smart landscapes as another Auckland Central Landscaping Consultant, Kate Ryan, has earned both second and third place, both of which were in Mount Eden. Kate’s understated garden makeover won second place and featured a raised vegetable garden, spa pool, and ground-level decking for a seamless transition between the relaxing patio and meticulously manicured lawn.

Her third-place design overcame challenging volcanic terrain to produce a stylish space with multiple areas to entertain.
