The Balinese magical backyard transformation in Sandringham invokes peace and calm for the owners.
The location chosen for the woodshed was challenging as there was an existing window into the garage and they wanted to maintain the light coming in. Shane from Zones built the shed deep enough so that wood could be stacked to either side of the window and allowed us to maintain the view. The shed had to be clad in cedar with traditional copper nails and corner flashings to match the existing house.
Our Takapuna client wanted Zones to re-design their old-fashioned and tired garden, worn out lawns, old deck and falling fences. Match the outside with the newly rebuilt modern home. Tracey's concept design really paid off for the client.
Re-build an old worn out deck on an investment property in Wanaka. Shane from Zones was asked to rebuild the deck exactly as per the original so that no building consent was required. Our client (an Auckland-based investor) really appreciated Zones comprehensive contract and our regular communications which included photos updating her on progress.
The client needed us to come and enhance the area around the new pool. There was a minimal budget for design so we came up with a low cost and functional landscape design.
A generous size swimming pool, pergola, fencing, gates, a louvre system, decking, landscaping, garden, boundary hedging for privacy, a retaining wall and a custom build teppanyaki table with a barbecue is what it takes to get that complete look.
Matt & Boyd Gillespie came in to help finish off a full stack renovation. They took care of the establishing heights and preparing for the tile path, synthetic grass, and planting. Most of the areas at Hauraki Road Residence was already defined and the synthetic grass gave the project an immediately finished feel.
The cool angular garden was created with rocks on a steep driveway. The Mairangi Bay resident wanted to transform their steep driveway into something inviting and useful, we got structural elements of core 10 shapes to give it a cool garden look. This project was done by Zones landscaping specialists Matt & Boyd Gillespie
Large trees planted for privacy from the neighbouring school, with 570 small plants just lifts the look and feel of the Caldera Drive house. We also installed a sprinkler to ensure low maintenance is required for our busy client. Project completed by Zones Landscape Specialists Matt & Boyd Gillespie
Our Hobsonville client recently moved into their new home with a bare backyard. Their key request was to make their space more inviting and low maintenance. An entertaining space with a garden, lawn, a water feature was created allowing plenty of space for their two young children to play. This project was done by a Zones landscaping specialist Mathew Wilkinson
The lawns were really struggling due to weeds, drought, and the cats using them as a toilet. Shane discussed the issues and replaced the lawns with new ready lawn, pavers and large river stones. This project was done by a Zones landscaping specialist Shane Woonton.
The final result is a very versatile outdoor space that will allow the Cadzows to spend more of their time outside enjoying the magnificent view even in rough central Otago weather conditions.
A tropical oasis that has a resort feel to enhance their beautiful home.
Clients permanently moved from Auckland to their beach house in Mahurangi. Their large house renovation required us to build a new retaining wall, fencing, and garden in just 6 weeks.
Clients had a relatively old and tired looking garden and wanted an overhaul to make it modern and more suitable to the house style. They wanted a more sub-tropical planting theme. We had to cut down the two large trees and dig out all the existing plants. The gardens had river stones covered in leaves and foliage. We cleaned them and put incorporated back into the new garden. The stumps from the old trees were then covered with beautiful planting bowls. They got a garden they loved, and we got a happy client.
