A new planting plan, fencing and outdoor lighting added that something special to this outdoor space in Browns Bay.

WORDS Mina Phillips

While this Browns Bay garden had some gorgeous elements to begin with, there was definitely room for growth. The property lacked privacy, parts of the garden were overgrown and the outdoor space as a whole was just missing that special something. Tracey and Glen came on board to help the property owners with their outdoor makeover.

“The clients wanted to tidy up and recreate their gardens, install some natural-looking fencing for privacy and have lights put throughout the garden"
- Tracey, Landscaping specialist

“The clients wanted to tidy up and recreate their gardens, install some natural-looking fencing for privacy and have lights put throughout the garden”, tells Tracey. “They also wanted some paving to an under-deck storage area. The existing gardens were full of agapanthus which all needed to be removed.”

After meeting with her clients for a consultation, Tracey put together a sketch and planting plan - to ensure her clients were completely satisfied with their project before any work began. They were, and so Tracey began managing the makeover.

A pebbled outdoor pathway was installed, creating a clean transition between outdoor spaces. The garden was tidied up and a new planting plan put into action. New fencing was installed, creating privacy between the neighbouring property. And finally, a careful selection of outdoor lights were installed.
