Glen has more than 15 years’ experience in the office products industry where he has also developed strong project management skills and client relationships. Glen spent 10 years at Office Max in Auckland and worked for various other office products companies such as Boise Office Solutions, Hollands Stationery and Blue Star Office Products. Prior to this he owned and operated a garden and lawn maintenance business and trained as a plumber when he first left school. Most recently Glen was Director of a property investment company where he renovated properties for re-sale and invested in rental properties.
Glen spent most of his younger years growing up in Titirangi and attended Avondale College. As a young child he spent 2 years living in the UK with his parents. Glen has always been a very keen and highly achieving sportsman. He played representative Cricket, under 18’s for Auckland and represented New Zealand in Badminton, under 16’s and under 18’s. He is also a very keen footballer which he started playing when he was a young boy and still plays today for East Coast Bays Football Club.
Glen owns a lifestyle block of 5 acres in Waitoki, Rodney with his wife Tracey. They have both alpacas and sheep. Glen spends many hours looking after and maintaining this property where he especially enjoys doing the lawns on his ride-on mower. His love for gardens and landscaping has transpired into buying a Zones Landscaping Franchise with Tracey. Glen likes working for Zones due to the clear and concise leadership by Head Office, namely the Directors and the wonderful marketing team. He enjoys meeting new clients and building relationships.
Recently, Glen has just finished building a minor dwelling on their lifestyle block and know the importance of a good design, project management and clear and continuous communication. Glen is extremely hard working and does a lot of the soft landscaping on his projects himself. He looks forward to assisting you to create your own piece of paradise.
