When the owners of this Clevedon property first moved in, it was just a shabby farm overrun with weeds and broken fences. Deciding it was time for a makeover, they brought in local Zones Landscaping Architect Nichola Vague who transformed their backyard into a sub-tropical themed, blue-space oasis. She took care of everything, from designing their initial concept to supervising the entire project, which involved managing 10 earth-moving contractors and 250 truckloads of metal! Construction took place throughout the winter and was finished just in time for summer. Check out the full project.
Homeowners of this Pensacola home were tired of the impossible task of keeping overgrown weeds in check and cleaning their cracked grime-ingrained concrete. Their local landscaping specialist Kyle English completed the project in just 4 days, which involved connecting their driveway to the sheltered backyard swimming pool, staining the concrete in the pool area, and adding a refreshing planting scheme to their garden. Zones landscaping specialists Tracey and Glen Barker took what was an underwhelming expansive backyard and transformed it into a sleek outdoor space featuring a huge swimming pool, pergola, aluminium fencing, gates, a louvre system, pine decking, a custom build teppanyaki table with barbecue, a pebbled garden, boundary hedging for privacy, and a retaining wall! Although this North Shore home already had all the foundations for an outdoor entertainment space, it needed a new design and planting plan to help create defined areas to entertain guests and relax. Zones landscaping specialists Matt and Boyd Gillespie were brought in to develop a detailed design to update the overgrown and antiquated back garden and pool. They went on to clear the original landscaping and installed new Kwila decking, pine retaining, planter boxes, refurbished the pool area with glass fencing, fixed coloured concrete patios, an alloy louvred roof with aluminium framing, and finally, updated the property’s planting and gardens. The project took 2 months to complete and the final cost came to $100,000. Take a look at the gorgeous result.
Landscaping specialist Judd Stratful took only 6 weeks to update this Rodney backyard; which included building a deck around the pool using garapa decking timber, constructing a small house around the pool pump, installing black aluminium fencing that met local pool regulations, and retaining the lawn area to give it an infinity lawn feeling. To wrap up, she framed the property with planter beds, and planted & mulched the garden to include fruit trees, coprosma, pleached ficus tuffi, and Corokia Geenty's Green hedging. The full project cost $60,000. Check out the attractive relaxation space.
